Switching Widgets to off will disable the footer widgets for all website pages.

Enable the footer Widgets will give you the ability to set it’s columns from 1 column (with the ability to set it’s text alignment) up to 6 columns (with different columns width).

The footer widgets has a 6 columns grid.

Examples:

If your columns selection is 2 columns:

– Another options will needs your interaction (First widget column width and Second widget column width) to set their width and by default the First and Second widget column width is set to 3 (They are equals in width).

– The widgets columns are only 2 and the grid is 6 and they are equal in width, so each one of them will be set to 3 (6 / 2 = 3).

– But what if you need to make the First widget column wider than Second widget column.
– You can set the First widget column width to 4 and to get the Second widget column width, you need to subtract the 6 columns grid from 4 (6 – 4 = 2), so the Second widget column width will be 2.

Another example:

– If you need to make the First widget column width a little bit smaller than the previous example.
– You can set the First widget column width to 3.5 and to get the Second widget column width, you need to subtract the 6 columns grid from 3.5 (6 – 3.5 = 2.5), so the Second widget column width will be 2.5
